Ask us about this1.What these terms cover
These terms apply to any vendor that sells on the Oasis marketplace. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, which cover everyone who uses Oasis. Where the two differ on a selling matter, these terms take priority.
By applying to sell, you agree to them on behalf of your company, and you confirm you are authorized to do so.
2.Applying and approval
Every vendor is reviewed by a person before it can sell. We check your legal entity, EIN and licence documents, and we may ask you for more. We can turn down an application. If we do, we tell you, but we do not give a reason.
Your listings go live only after approval. You must keep your licences and documents up to date. If one lapses or is withdrawn, we may pause your listings until it is renewed.
3.Your listings
You are responsible for making sure every listing is accurate: the product, product code, pack size, unit of measure, unit price, shipping fee, stock level and lead time. You must hold every licence and authorization needed to sell the products you list.
We group equivalent products from different vendors onto one product page. If your pack size or details differ from another vendor’s, we keep both and a person reviews the difference. We never silently merge them.
We may edit, pause or remove a listing that is inaccurate, unlawful or unsafe. If we do, we will tell you why.
4.Pricing and ranking
You set your own prices, quantity discounts, shipping fees and delivery times. Offers are ranked by total with shipping, meaning unit price plus shipping, and practices can re-rank them by unit price or delivery speed.
Your prices are shown only to approved practices. Other vendors can’t see them, and you can’t see theirs. This separation is enforced in our database, not just hidden in the interface.
5.Fulfilling orders
When a practice pays, you receive your part of the order. You must ship it within the lead time you published, pack it in the way the product requires, and add the carrier and tracking number when it ships.
Keep your stock levels accurate. A listing that is out of stock is removed from buying pages automatically, and you can set a low-stock alert so you are warned before that happens. If you find you can’t fulfil an order you have received, tell us straight away.
6.Commission
Listing on Oasis is free. Oasis charges a commission on each completed sale, at the rate agreed with you when your account is approved. Your current rate is always shown in your vendor portal.
Commission is worked out when the order is placed, using the rate in force at that moment, and it is fixed for that order. If the rate changes later, orders you have already received are not affected. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any rate change takes effect.
7.Payments to you
The practice pays Oasis. Oasis then pays you what you are owed for each part of an order you ship, minus commission and minus any refunds on that part. Your portal shows each payment line by line, with the order behind it.
Payments are made by bank transfer on the schedule agreed with you when your account is approved, for parts of orders that have been delivered. Oasis doesn’t currently store your bank details in the platform, and the payment details shown in your portal can only be viewed, not changed.
8.Refunds and disputes
Practices bring every problem to Oasis, not to you. We review the order, the shipment and the payment together, ask you for your side of it, and decide the outcome under our refund policy.
If a refund is for something that was your responsibility, such as a wrong item, damage in your packing, or a shipment that never arrived, the refund is taken off what we owe you, and the commission on it is reversed. In those cases return shipping is also at your cost.
If a practice returns correct goods under our refund policy, the goods come back to you, the refund is taken off what we owe you for that order, and the commission on it is reversed. Return shipping in that case is paid by the practice.
9.Fair dealing
Don’t ask practices you meet on Oasis to buy from you outside Oasis, or offer them different terms for doing so. Don’t copy or reuse other vendors’ listings or content. Don’t share your login with anyone else. Give each user in your company their own account.
You may only use practice information, such as a practice’s name, address and order details, to fulfil the orders it relates to.
10.Suspension and leaving
You can stop selling at any time. Before you close your account, you must ship or cancel every order you have already received.
We may suspend or close a vendor account if you break these terms, repeatedly miss your lead times, let a required licence lapse, or if the law requires it. Suspension stops new sales. It doesn’t erase your order and payment history, which both sides may need.
